Clergy CID Badge Cost
Increase
The Clergy
Identification Badge (CID) is designed to assist the clergy and local hospital
by providing uniform identification. This badge is provided as a service by area
hospitals and the Columbus Metropolitan Area Church Council (CMACC). The Badge
is to be used by professional clergy or lay ministers from greater Columbus to
make hospital calls as part of their job assignment. It
is not
meant for clergy and lay ministers who live and work outside this area and
occasionally visit local hospitals. Such persons may easily obtain permission to
visit patients as specific needs arise.
Due to
increased costs, the application fee for Clergy Identification Badges increased
from $10.00 to $15.00 effective April 1, 2008.
This applies to new applications only. Clergy and lay ministers with existing
Badges are still valid.
